DESCRIPTION
The Production Assistant is responsible for various television production duties required to record scenes for live and recorded broadcasts. You will play a crucial role by ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our television production processes.
- Provides general support with set preparation
- Floor directing in-studio and on location
- Tests, cleans and maintains studio camera equipment
- Confers with directors and other crew members to discuss sequences, desired effects, camera movements and lighting requirements
- Greeting guests and escorting them to the studio
- Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements & Skills:
- High School Diploma
- Familiarity with processes and procedures of a television production department is a plus
- Must be able to interact well with on-air talent, production staff and guests who appear on the show
- Detail oriented
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Basic computer knowledge including MS Office
- Ability to prioritize assignments and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
