JOB EXPERIENCE
- Gather audio and video for multiple platforms.
- Communicate with producers, reporters, managers and others regarding things including but not limited to story content, news gathering, logistics and planning.
- Be a partner in the creative process.
- Communicate with producers, reporters, managers and others regarding things including but not limited to story content, news gathering, logistics and planning.
- Interview newsmakers and gather information in breaking news and other urgent situations.
- Maintain video equipment.
- Must be proficient in bonded cellular transmission, live capabilities and be able to move content across multiple platforms.
REQUIREMENTS
- High School Diploma
- Fluency in English
- Valid driver’s license
- Minimum two years news gathering experience
- Proficiency in nonlinear editing
- Proficiency in use of broadcast quality equipment
- Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments and handle multitask situations
- Flexibility in work shifts: must be available to work mornings, evenings, overnight, holidays and overtime as needed
