JOB EXPERIENCE

What You'll Do:

  • Broadcasting Reimagined: You'll be rewriting the playbook on how news is presented, using state-of-the-art tech and original content creation. 
  • Newsroom Command: Lead the newsroom like a commander in chief – coordinating daily operations, coverage of breaking news, and implementing special coverage plans.

Are You Our Ideal Candidate? 

Next-Gen Radio Skills: You need to be a tech-savvy news maverick with a deep understanding of cutting-edge radio broadcast production, digital editing, and use of the latest and most up to date powered news tools.

News Story Alchemist: We're looking for someone who can turn news into gold with captivating, innovative storytelling that resonates with the modern audience.

Tech Know-How: Embrace the tech-driven era with a knack for research practices, broadcast writing, and digital/audio computer editing. You'll be riding the digital wave of news creation.

Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • At least 3 years experience in a management role in a medium- or large-market multimedia newsroom
  • Minimum 2 years experience live on-air News Anchoring
  • Highly organized and excellent time management skills
  • Audio production skills required
  • Familiar with FCC rules and regulations and EAS guidelines
  • Proficient in using computer systems such as RCS, Microsoft Office Suite, News Boss, Adobe Audition or other audio editing programs, Wide Orbit experience a bonus
  • Familiar with audio mixers and remote monitoring systems for radio transmissions
  • Available to be on-call as needed and for emergency wall-to-wall coverage
  • A valid driver’s license, satisfactory completion of a motor vehicle record check, and, if the position requires use of applicant’s own vehicle, proof of insurance, is required.
