KSVI- The TV and digital platform operated by Nexstar Broadcasting, Inc. in Billings, MT is searching for a dynamic, aggressive sales executive.  In this position, you will work within the established Sales Department guidelines to increase sales volume for both TV and digital revenue by executing plans and strategies set forth by Sales Management.  Applicants must be driven, self-motivated, creative professionals looking to take the next step in their career. Team player individuals with a passion for winning, a great attitude and a competitive spirit are the ideal candidates for this position.  Experience preferred but not required. 

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Implement strategies to consistently grow revenue and exceed revenue goals.
  • Establish credible relationships within our business community.
  • Make sales calls on prospective clients and develop new business.
  • Maintains assigned accounts and develops new accounts.
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations to clients
  • Educate customers on the variety of available TV and Digital products to most effectively promote their products and/or services.
  • Provide clients with information regarding rates for advertising placement on television and digital platforms.
  • Work with clients and station personnel to develop advertising and promotional campaigns.
  • Develop and maintain a strong knowledge of market trends and the media landscape for Billings and surrounding areas.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

As the media strategist you would be responsible for developing strong business relationships and growing those to meet team goals. You will also be tasked with continual education and influence with our staff and clients on broadcast digital products/trends, developing strong client solutions, and good overall service and response rate.  You will be selling a suite of digital solutions including search marketing (SEM/SEO), targeted display, retargeting, reputation management, content marketing, mobile marketing, social media, and email marketing.

Responsibilities:

  • Be a trusted advisor for clients, break down the strategies and how they will impact the business.
  • Provide creative solutions and create custom presentations for client meetings
  • Communicate the benefits of broadcast reach, content, search marketing (SEM/SEO), targeted display, retargeting, reputation management, content marketing, mobile marketing, social media, and email marketing.
  • Provide fulfillment across multiple platforms.
  • Meet goals

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required.

REQUIREMENTS

Requirements & Experience:

  • 2-3 years of marketing or business experience, digital media experience preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Working experience of Google Analytics, DFP is a plus!
  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
